Quick FAQ on Delivery Methods

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers

Why is a contact number required for courier delivery?
All couriers (such as DHL, DPD, UPS, etc) require a contact telephone number to be specified when booking collection and delivery. Your number will be passed on to the courier to be used for example in case the delivery driver has problems finding your address. Your number will not be used for marketing or any other purposes.
Why can't I choose XYZ delivery? (It was available before)
Most services have strict weight and sometimes size limitations, so these options are disabled once the limit is exceeded. As an example, the maximum total weight (including packaging) for Economy delivery is currently 2kg.
In addition we disable some services that do not provide adequate compensation cover for the value of your order to protect both you and ourselves from loss and/or damage.
It is 11.30am, will I receive my parcel tomorrow?
If it is a small number of items to be delivered to a UK address, then you still have a good chance. Make sure you choose Special Delivery and that your order reaches us by 12 noon.
If you submit your order after this time, please also email us separately to inform us of the urgency. Regardless, we will try to fast track Special Delivery orders whenever possible.
Please bear in mind that we do not work over the weekend, and neither does the service. Once dispatched we cannot make any further guarantees as delivery is ultimately in the hands of the carrier. However we can try to obtain compensation on your behalf, should the service on rare occasion fail to deliver as promised.
I need my order urgently, what should I choose?
If available, please ensure that you select Special Delivery and proceed as above. If Special Delivery is not shown as available, you may need to try and place several smaller orders, paying a separate Special Delivery charge for each.
