Quick FAQ on Delivery Methods

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers

Why is a contact number required for courier delivery?
All couriers (such as DHL, DPD, UPS, etc) require a contact telephone number to be specified when booking collection and delivery. Your number will be passed on to the courier to be used for example in case the delivery driver has problems finding your address. Your number will not be used for marketing or any other purposes.
Why can't I choose XYZ delivery? (It was available before)
Most services have strict weight and sometimes size limitations, so these options are disabled once the limit is exceeded. As an example, the maximum total weight (including packaging) for Economy delivery is currently 2kg.
In addition we disable some services that do not provide adequate compensation cover for the value of your order to protect both you and ourselves from loss and/or damage.
It is 11:30am, will I receive my parcel tomorrow?
If it is a small number of items to be delivered to a UK address, then you still have a good chance. Make sure you choose Next Working Delivery and that your order reaches us before 12 noon. You should also email us separately informing us of the urgency.
Please bear in mind that we do not work over the weekend. Please also note that once dispatched we cannot make any guarantees for orders. Delivery is ultimately in the hands of the carrier, but we will always do our best to meet the deadline.
It is Thursday and I need these items by Tuesday, what should I choose?
This depends on your location and the time you place your order. Carriers do not normally work on Saturdays, so it is best to bear this in mind. Our Bulk service takes 2-3 working days, however if for example you live in the Scottish Highlands, then this may still not be fast enough, so we always recommend ordering in good time before your deadline wherever possible.
