Flower head garlands will be popular again this year and will go along with the festival theme so why not take a walk down memory lane and try making your own daisy chain crown? You’re sure to have a giggle even if you’re not particularly green thumbed.

5.    Poppies – Red Rose Alternatives

If your favourite colour is red but you are a little sick of the classic red rose then you may be happy to know that poppies are in full bloom in late spring and therefore provide you with a great alternative.

Poppies also come in a variety of other shades so you’re bound to find a bloom to fit your tastes. Team with gerberas, chrysanthemums and dahlias for a bouquet with a difference, or pin an artificial poppy to a jacket or hat to add a pop of colour to your outfit.
